Weekend Repaint and Weathering
Received a couple of items this week and decided to repaint some and weather some. I would like to thank Huy (hqpham of OSW) for the M82 and the M4/203. Thanks buddy.
The HT protec was purchased last year and have never been put to use cos it had thick white cushion that made it a hard fit on all my HS. I decided to change the inner cushion black and give the protec a weathered and used look.
The M4/203 is a gift from Huy and I went ahead to give it slight weathering. The initial weathering pass did nothing to bring out the detail as the body was not primed, I did a black wash over it and used Vallerjo Iraqi Sand to bring out the details. Added a touch of dark brown so that it has some tones.
Last but not least, the SR 25 from Dragon is a sweet weapon. Pardon a newbie (considering I only have HT, SS, ACE and TS parts) for not realising that Dragon makes really cool and detailed weapons. This will definitely not be the last Dragon weapon for me. Same as the above M4/203, I brought out the detail by dry-brushing with sand and dark brown.

Detailed pic of how layers of weathering and painting got WALL E dirty.
Cpt Lennox kitbash. Mainly HT parts utilised. Featured here as NSW SEAL Team 10.
